Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Work: The Augmented Human
A look at the future of work that moves the conversation beyond simple automation toward a deeper question: how people and organizations can develop new capabilities alongside artificial intelligence.
The conference explores the transition from an instrumental view of artificial intelligence—centered on tools and automation—toward a deeper relationship with AI, based on understanding how it works, its possibilities, and its impact on the way we work and make decisions.
The journey introduces the concept of the augmented human: people capable of expanding knowledge, creativity, intelligence, productivity, and learning through a new relationship between mind and machine. From there, the reflection extends to the augmented worker, the augmented employer, and ultimately an augmented work ecosystem, where people, processes, data, and knowledge must learn to interact in a different way.
From Automating Tasks to Building Capacity
One of the central messages is that adopting AI does not simply mean buying technology. Real transformation requires redesigning work, developing new human capabilities, experimenting, learning, and building intellectual capital of our own. The strategic challenge is to move from consuming external intelligence toward progressively developing institutional artificial intelligence capacity.
The conference closes with a fundamental idea: the future of work is not about replacing human beings, but about learning to orchestrate intelligences. The advantage will belong to those who know how to combine people, technology, processes, data, and knowledge without losing what remains essentially human: the judgment to make meaningful decisions.
